Benjamin De Loenen has a 23-year track record of working globally around the processes of the expansion of traditional Indigenous plants and its associated challenges, and on the opportunities to build alliances between different Indigenous and Western onto-epistemological systems as transitional paths in these times of crisis. In 2009 he founded the ICEERS Foundation, where he serves as Executive Director. From 2022-2024 he served as Interim Co-Director at the Indigenous Medicines Conservation Fund (IMC Fund).
